The Dutch Marketo user group met at Marketo’s EMEA headquarters in Dublin for the periodic user group meeting. The group usually meets in the Netherlands of course. But we took the opportunity to visit Marketo’s new office in Dublin. Unfortunately half of the registrants couldn’t make it. Due to circumstances two different flights were cancelled and another one was significantly delayed. Members flying with Air Lingus and Ryanair were unable to attend. Only those flying KLM made it in time.

We first hit the office for a quick tour. That was followed by a startegy presentation and three in-depth product showcases. We then went downtown to dine together. We also celebrated someone’s birthday at dinner. And we even got supported by Chad Smith, the drummer from the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, who was sitting at the table next to us!

It was a great day of learning and networking. The next session will be in The Netherlands again in November.
